Five girls soccer players will play in the game, including Bentonville All-State midfielder Sheila Helms and Rogers All-State midfielder Alyvia Rogers. Bentonville goalkeeper Chelsea Widen, Rogers defender Kristin Harp, and Siloam Springs' Misti Brown also were selected.

From the boys' side, Rogers All-State midfielder Matt Marsh and his RHS teammate D. J. Kirn were chosen as were Siloam Springs All-State players Ramon Gomez and Josh Trotter.

The game will be played June 17 at Lady'Back Field in Fayetteville. This year's game marks the 53 rd anniversary of All-Star competition.

Also on Bowen's staff will be Texarkana coach Nick Newman and Huntsville coach Kevin Shinn.

Bowen, who's led the Panthers to two state runner-up finishes in the last four years, was recently selected as the 2007 Arkansas Boys Soccer Coach of the Year by the National Federation of High School Coaches. Bowen also is the head girls' soccer coach at Siloam Springs. Peck guided the Rogers Mounties to their best season in several years. The Mounties finished second in the 7 A-West Conference and were 17-5-1 overall.
