Rugby Super 14: Flynn out of final

Monday May 26, 2008 CHRISTCHURCH - The Crusaders have confirmed that Corey Flynn has fractured his right arm and will miss Saturday's Super 14 final against the New South Wales Waratahs in Christchurch.
The hooker suffered the injury while tackling wing Hosea Gear in the 12th minute of last Saturday's 33-22 semi-final victory against the Hurricanes.
Flynn, who underwent surgery to stabilise the radius in his right arm on Sunday, is expected to be out for up to three months, which rules him out of contention for the New Zealand squad to be named the day after the Super 14 final.
The 27-year-old rake has not missed a match for the Crusaders since April 23, 2005, a sequence of 47 consecutive appearances.
Ti'i Paulo, who came on as Flynn's replacement in the semi-final, will start in the final at AMI Stadium with wider training group member Steve Fualau coming into the squad.
"It's hard losing a brother (Flynn) like that and he's such a big part of the team, it's definitely a shame," Paulo said.
