NEW DELHI (espnstar.com) - Legendary Aussie leg-spinner Shane Warne has predicted that upcoming leg spinner Piyush Chawla can be the successor to Team India test captain Anil Kumble.
"Piyush Chawla is very impressive. He has a bright future in Indian Cricket, who can be the successor of Anil Kumble," he said.
"Indian cricket has two quality leg spin bowlers in Anil Kumble and Piyush Chawla," he added.
Warne, who is captaining Jaipur in the ongoing IPL tournament, said "Piyush Chawla spent a couple of hours with me. He was not happy with the way things were going for him. I offered him advice and a few tips."
Warne also praised all-rounder Ravinder Jadeja and said he could fit that slot well in the Indian team.
